FIC recruits new analyst cohorts twice a year—once in Fall and again in Winter Quarter. We highly recommend coming to our recruitment week events to learn more about our programs, meet our leadership & people, and figure out if FIC is the right fit for you. We look forward to meeting you!

  • No experience is required. However, new members have often demonstrated interest or passion for the subject in the past through their own experiences.

  • Although not mandatory, we highly recommend attending an Infosession at the minimum. Not only will you be able to learn more about what we do and offer, but you will get to network with Board Members as well as current FICers.

  • Yes, membership in FIC is a competitive process. We take a holistic approach and review every applicant’s recruitment event participation, essay answers, resume, academic record, and contextual background in a 360 degree review process.

  • We have no minimum or maximum word limits. Rather, we look for responses that clearly convey the applicant’s ideas in a clear, concise format that also demonstrates meaningful effort.

  • Joining FIC starts with meeting us at tabling or our recruitment events. After application submission, candidates selected to move forward will be invited to a Superday. Candidates will then have the opportunity to interview, where not only we will assess your candidacy, but you will be able to see if FIC is the right fit for you.
